About the Brand

Meet the owner, Faye

Born and raised in the rural parts of Port Allen, Louisiana, also known as Lobdell, I became Louisiana Spiced at a young age. As the 4th of 7 children, I enjoyed a country life on my family’s farm, where we raised various animals and crops. We raised everything from potatoes to watermelon and shared our bountiful harvest with family, friends, and our close-knit community. This is what made everyday special. As they say, “Country Living is the Best Living this side of Heaven,” and I couldn’t agree more.

The skills and values I learned growing up on the farm have been the driving force behind my desire to become an entrepreneur. In 2015, as I pondered retirement plans, the concept of expressing my true love for Louisiana struck me. Amid multiple names and ideas, the one concept that stood out was Louisiana Spiced—something I adored because it resonated with my deep connection to the state. Louisiana itself is remarkably distinctive, with its boot-shaped boundaries being a symbol of its uniqueness. Just as the United States is a melting pot, I believe Louisiana epitomizes the diversity within the nation.

Louisiana boasts a rich and varied culture, marked by extravagant celebrations and festivals that cover an array of cultural elements—food, music, art, and people. Louisiana's spirit is encapsulated in the phrase "Laissez les bon temps rouler," reflecting its lively and festive atmosphere.
